Work

I am currently a System Software Enginner at Apple. Due to it being Apple, I am not able to provide further details. I was hired after an internship where I repurposed a legacy database backup system to do cross-datacenter replication from multiple sources simultaneously in order to increase resilience and fault-tolerance.

While in university, I did a stint as a Grader for “Computer Systems and C” for a year. While my main goal was to just grade student programs, I decided to spend some (on-the-clock) time adding features to the autograder that we had, as well as fixing a few bugs. In particular, I made the script do a dry-run by default so that incomplete grading sheets weren’t uploaded, and also print more verbose error messages so other graders could figure out if it was my changes that broke things or a student’s code that broke things.
